Robert William Bubba "Bob" Naves (1942 - 2017)

Robert passed away unexpectedly in his sleep at his duck hunting club in Maxwell, California, on January 28, 2017. Born November 2, 1942 in Sacramento to John and Marjorie Naves. He grew up in Land Park and attended Riverside Elementary, California Jr. High, and McClatchy High School. Owner of Old Town Autobody in Elk Grove for 25 years. An avid duck hunter and fisherman all his life. Survived by his wife of 44 years Rosemary of Elk Grove, son Jack and his wife Gina and children Grace and Adam of Roseville, daughter Rachel and Husband Lee Kubiak and children Leah and Emily of Elk Grove; daughter Toni and husband Randy Rundell and children Brandon, Justin, Kaitie, and Kristi (Patillo) and husband James and great-granddaughter Sophia of Arkansas, sister Georgette (George) Pieretti, nephews Richard and Ronnie (Lori) Pieretti and Mark Naves (Evelyn Lovato). Preceded in death by his parents, and brother John Jr. Naves. Memorial service Feb. 11 at 1 PM at Herberger Elk Grove funeral chapel.
