Sadly, John Oliver passed away about a week ago. John had been battling lung cancer for quite some time but was making progress. It is uncertain what the cause of death was, his doctor assumes it was stroke. John passed away at his home. No autopsy was done. He leaves his wife, Irma, and two daughters. There were no services, and he was cremated.

Thank you for the information Bob Cabelera. Sure sorry to hear that. John was one of the original members of our Elementary School Class at Crocker Elementary School. If you look at the picture you will see him in there, the next to the tallest boy in the class, top row, 4th from the left end. I had wondered what happend to him after Graduation and now you have filled in a little information about him, Bob. Sorry to know John Oliver has passed away, but glad we can have a method about finding out when someone in our former class does pass on. Thank you again for the sad news. My condolences to his Wife and Family.
