I dated Donna in, I think, our Junior Year. What a talent. She was a great dance partner but excelled at modern and other dancing as well. She lived not far from where I worked (Raley's Supermarket). She was always fun. A bit shy. Her mom and dad always had their home open to any of Donna's friends. I am sorry she is no longer with us. I would have thought she would have outlasted all of us. I would love to know about her life and incidents precipitating her demise. She always had a smile, was exhuberant, and nice to everyone. She had lots of friends. I miss her already.
Donna was a very close friend and I still miss her. The last time I saw her was at the World's Fair in New York City. Because I was living on the East coast when she married I was never able to meet her husband. Donna and I shared many overnights and the most memorable to me was sharing a bed with her boxer. I did not have a dog so it was very novel to have a dog sleeping between us. As Warren said, her family was wonderful and they opened their doors to me. She had a younger brother, Wally, which was also fun for me as I only had a brother quite a few years older. Many good times and many good memories.

I do not know when this picture was taken of Donna but it shows her beautiful smile. Nola Lancaster
