After CK McClatchy to Santa Clara and Gonzaga, then MD at UCSF in 1968. Internship SF General Hospital, Anesthesiology residency at UCSF and UC Davis. Married Sue Heller in 1968. 3 children. 2 years in the US Navy as a Lt. Commander in Morocco, No. Africa. Remarried in 1988 to Gail McKeon, and I have 2 wonderful step daughters. My career has included staff at UC Davis Medical Center, private practice, US Navy Medical Corps, administrative medicine, State of California. Now retired and living in Sonoma.

High School memories: Frat dances at Governor's Hall, The 36 Cave, driving my MG through Land Park on a warm summer night, Vics, Shakey's Pizza, Sam's Hof Brau, The Turkey Day Game, late night drives to SF to listen to Cal Tjader in North Beach, madras shirts, The Kingston Trio, the 1960 Winter Olympics at Squaw Valley, stuffing envelopes for Congressman John Moss(my dad was his campaign manager), early morning Tioga bus pickups in the circle in front of McClatchy..........etc.
